Responsibilities:
Seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Technical Writer to assist our Information Security team. This role is essential for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that covers a wide range of cybersecurity topics, including policies, procedures, system documentation, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity concepts, combined with exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into easily understandable text.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Technical Writing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a technical writer in the cybersecurity or information technology industry.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to understand complex information and communicate the information to people with diverse professional backgrounds.
Experience with technical documentation Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and cybersecurity frameworks (such as NIST, and CIS).
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Technical Writer, or any relevant cybersecurity certifications.
